81 Military Brigade Bistrita

About the project:
Reference project for the Romanian Army
Modern constructions completed ahead of schedule for the 81st Mechanized Brigade Bistrita
Frasinul SRL, together with its partners, successfully completed a major national project for the 81st Mechanized Brigade “General Grigore Balan” in Bistrita. The investment, totaling 16.5 million euros, involved the construction of four modern facilities, delivered five months before the contractual deadline.
The works began in December 2021 and were completed on December 15, 2023. All buildings are fully equipped with advanced systems: independent heating plants, fire detection and extinguishing systems, ventilation, smoke extraction, access control, and video surveillance, all integrated into a command center.
The most impressive facility is Pavilion C7 – a modern building shaped like the letter "V," spread over 5 levels and more than 3,200 sqm. It includes administrative, training, rest, and logistics areas, with a capacity of 458 seats, 5 elevators, and 5 access points. The basement houses spacious storage rooms and work areas, while the upper floors contain offices, training rooms, and fully equipped dormitories.
In addition to this pavilion, Frasinul built another facility for the 405th Logistic Battalion, which includes office spaces and a conference hall, as well as two modern garages for the Piranha V armored personnel carriers, part of the unit’s new equipment.
The success of this project highlights FRASINUL SRL’s commitment to quality, professionalism, and execution efficiency. Completion well ahead of schedule was possible due to exemplary mobilization and rigorous technical coordination.
This project is clear proof that FRASINUL is a trusted partner for the Romanian state and for high-level military projects, actively contributing to the modernization of national infrastructure.
