About the project:
Exemplary Modernization of DJ109E in Salaj County
In the summer of 2022, FRASINUL SRL began rehabilitation and modernization works on county road DJ109E, which connects the localities of Rus, Buzas, Lozna, and DN1H. This nearly 35-kilometer stretch was radically transformed in record time, with the works completed six months ahead of the contractual deadline.
The project involved an impressive mobilization, with approximately 200 specialists engaged daily in all stages of execution. From reinforcement works and water collection and drainage systems to the restoration of the road structure and laying of road layers, all processes were carried out with precision and responsibility.
Among the modernized infrastructure elements are:
- Rehabilitation of 34.5 km of roadway;
- Construction of 10 km of sidewalks;
- Over 52 km of ditches and gutters;
- Installation of 11,000 meters of metal safety barriers;
- Construction of 3.3 km of retaining walls;
- 139 new culverts;
- Rehabilitation of 2 important bridges over the Simisna and Iapa streams.
Through this project, FRASINUL SRL reaffirms its commitment to quality work and operational efficiency, actively contributing to the development of Romania’s road infrastructure. DJ109E is now a safe, modern, and durable road that successfully serves the needs of the local communities and supports regional mobility.
